Would this be a useful area to create within the forum? Sharing car journeys, help with shopping etc on return from hospital, empty garages available to rent, a partner needed for Bridge, recommended plumbers and so on. It might be especially useful for new arrivals.

Those sorts of topics are definitely the sort of thing that the forum is meant for. I'm not sure that there is a need to create a separate area yet - general discussion should cover most things.
Note that recommendations for plumbers etc. can be found in the "Useful Contacts" section of the site (see the menu item on the left).

Website improvements

Now that this website is off the ground, I'd like to find out what people think about how it could be improved.
(I know there are a few rough edges e.g. how the top banner picture looks on a wide screen monitor.)
What information is missing that you would expect to find here? From the perspective of both members and non-members.
All suggestions welcome!

This is a forum where members can discuss anything relevant to the Association, the Marina or the local community.
For the moment, there is this one discussion forum; however, we can easily add more specific areas if there is a demand e.g. if there are a lot of posts about Marina development then we might create an area specifically for that.
